If my 13 year old son can handle a conversation about periods then I think grown adults should be able to hear about it 🤣🤣

Literally nobody on earth would exist if women didn’t have periods. It’s 2026, as if we’re still being shamed for speaking about them

If you don’t want hormones you may be able to have Tranexamic acid to reduce the flow, might be worth discussing with your GP

I’ve been on Desogestrel since I was 40. I’m guessing I can only be on this one. Not had a period in 6 years since, no symptoms. Very occasional spotting, wouldn’t know if it was my time of the month or not. Been brilliant. Highly recommend if offered and it works for your body x

Try the coil. It works perfectly for me and can be used during perimenopause and menopause as a form of HRT x

I take transexamic acid, it just lightens it and makes life bearable. Ask for it to go on your repeat prescription lovely! Maybe also worth having a scan too, I did and it turned out I had multiple polyps as well as a very heavy flow. Don’t suffer lovely xxx

When ladies get older the flow comes heavy and walking makes it worse .So when you feel a little worse stay in and rest for a couple days

the fact that people are still offended is ridiculous. I have 2 teenage boys and they're comfortable with the conversation cos they need to know for there future families. People need to grow up 😍
