But math is everywhere in making video games. Thankfully we do have lots of tools that help us. But the more ambitious you get, the more complex math challenges you will face. But there's nothing wrong with it and it's not needed to be afraid of math when wanting to pursue a career in video games. Because math with making games is so much fun. This because of one important factor: 👉 Visualization. Visualizing mathematics made everything different. Not only did it help me understand, it also helped me to enjoy math. Just seeing your mistakes and have a good laugh at weird results makes it fun. If you play with ragdolls you will know what I mean 😜. But it also added another layer of satisfaction. When you make something in your game which requires complex maths, it's just so satisfying to see it work and see it all come together. It makes you extremely proud and actually makes you feel pretty smart as well. 😉 As they also say: "Math is not boring, you are just doing boring math". 😉 And when you make video games even boring math can become fun when you visualize it. 🙌 So yes, making video games is math heavy.
