If, as the CS has stated, some teachers have changed and are no longer fully committed to their responsibilities, then perhaps parents should also be allowed to join their children in boarding schools. After all, a great deal happens in these institutions far from the eyes of parents, yet when things go wrong, the blame is directed at parents in full measure. Who are these teachers who feel the need to negotiate authority and discipline with students? A teacher who cannot maintain professional boundaries and leadership in the classroom has already surrendered part of their mandate. And who are these parents allegedly teaching their children bad manners? If parents are to be held solely responsible for student behavior, then they should equally have the right to withdraw their children from boarding schools that fail to provide proper guidance, discipline, and supervision. We cannot have a CS wielding such authority publicly blaming parents while expecting teachers—especially the younger generation of teachers—to emerge more motivated and committed. Leadership should unite stakeholders around solutions, not assign blame to one group while excusing others. The education system needs a common code of conduct, clearly defining the responsibilities of students, parents, teachers, and administrators. The rules, penalties, and consequences should be documented, signed, understood by all parties, and applied consistently without fear, favor, or discrimination. Operating on assumptions and blanket accusations will only deepen the cultural and social divisions already emerging within our schools. Accountability must be shared, expectations must be clear, and consequences must be fair if we genuinely want better outcomes.

High cost of living with punitive taxes has taken away our time to have that discussion with our children.Thats why we blame the government that has taken every cent from our pocket 😭😭😭😭.

We can't do exactly the same as our parents, times have changed, new inventions needs new control or regulation methords, but one thing that can remain constant which hasn't is parents presents in their childrens lives.

Maybe ban boarding schools and allow children to grow up within their parents houses 🤔. Im a product of boarding school, as early as class 4 back in 2004 and I can tell you i was practically raised by teachers. That is not healthy.
