@rabbi.noah18: Converts, trust in God's timing. That burning feeling, the soul that just wants to come home, that's your Neshama on fire. Don't minimize it. The Sfas Emes teaches something that will change how you see this journey. Based on Tehillim, "Hashem shomer es ha'geirim," God protects the converts. He says God is already watching over the souls who will one day seek to convert. Before the process. Before the beit din. Before the mikveh. Right now. He's with you right now. Not just after. Not once you cross the finish line. In the learning, in the growing, in the figuring it out. God is in that with you. Trust the timing. Absolutely trust the timing. The clarity you have, the fact that you found Torah, that you found Hashem and the Jewish people, that didn't have to happen. That's a gift. Receive it. And trust that the One who gave it to you is walking with you every step of the way. #Judaism #Torah #Jewishconvert #Jewishconversion #God

My conversion took 40 years. I began to feel a deep love for Judaism at the age of 10, and I was only able to complete my process at 48. 🥰

thank you for posting this beautiful reel. Every word is true. I'm converting in two days. Hashem has been with me at every step of this journey. Every revelation, every step, Hashem has been with me. And I know that He was protecting me for so many years before I "started" this journey. He waited for me, blessed me, until I came home.

When I was dating my husband (who is Jewish) we talked about me converting and there was something in me that hesitated. I can't explain why, everything I had learned about Judaism fit my beliefs and worldview. I agreed to a childhood conversion for any children we would have and he was good with that. A year after our wedding I discovered an unbroken maternal Jewish line, it was like deep down I knew I didn't need to convert. Just like the first time I went to a synagogue with him and there was this feeling of familiarity and homecoming came over me. While not a conversion story it seemed appropriate to share.

It took me 3 years, one which I lived in Israel one of them, and it lets you deconstruct from your former self and build a new life.
