Hey y’all. Fellow autistic here. Please remember to take it easy on yourself. You don’t have to have a perfect mask or be perfect all the time. Period. It sucks but being kinder to myself has helped me accept that not everyone will understand. And that’s ok. Cuz I honestly don’t understand them either. The mutual-ness comforts me a bit sometimes

I’m only recently starting to realize that I most likely have AUDHD and I’m 24 years old and have been struggling with these feelings and overwhelming symptoms for over a decade and I don’t even know where to begin because I live in the deep south and I’ve burnt a lot of therapy bridges due to having not been able to motivate myself to commit to appointments or taking medications
