@karlernestkrafft: Even after five years, I can still remember every monologue, dialogue, and epilogue of Kaneki as if I had read them yesterday. It still amazes me how a fictional character can leave such a profound imprint on a person’s perception of the world and even shape parts of their identity. Kaneki entered my life at exactly the moment I needed him most. Back then, his story, his suffering, his inner contradictions, his struggle with identity, and his relentless search for meaning resonated with me on an almost existential level. I saw myself in him. He was never just a manga mc to me he became a guide through one of the most difficult periods of my life. Through his journey, I found myself endlessly reflecting on tragedy, identity, pain, growth, and, ultimately, happiness. Years have passed, and much has changed, yet the memory of his journey remains remarkably vivid. There are characters you admire while reading and then eventually forget. And then there are those rare, archetypal figures who become a part of who you are. Kaneki is that character for me. He means more to me than words can fully express.
