My uncle, who is diagnosed with diabetes, also tried that device. However, he already uses the FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus regularly. Just to add, the FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus comes with a sensor that you place on the upper arm/shoulder area, and you can simply tap or scan it to monitor blood sugar levels. On the other hand, the Ottai can be monitored directly through your phone. Based on our observation, the readings from the FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus seem to be more accurate compared to the Ottai. During our monitoring, there’s usually around a 20-point difference between their results, and it also seems like the Ottai readings are a bit delayed. This is just based on our personal observation, especially among adults who are diagnosed with diabetes.
