Im an invis player and I feel like if I ult outside of my ult, I will either get cc’d or focused. Example: I have a strange friend and he says that he easily ccs an invis outside of her ult, he once even solo ulted her to stop/ cancel the ult. But this is good advice depending on the situation!

While this is mainly correct, ulting away from urself when the enemy team is running dive increases ur chances of dying before you entire ur ult or if u plan to stay outside ur ult it’s easy to pick you off and delete ur ult. You should’ve mentioned that it’s important to have ur jump off cooldown if you plan to do this so you don’t get picked off

On invis I typically put it just a bit in front of us to encourage my team to start pushing up more since her ult is so stagnant in comparison to Luna and CnD. I’ll splat it on us if the damage is getting heavy and a team wipe feels like it’s incoming

The thing about invis ult is once people see your not in the ult as invis your going to get targeted

HOT TAKE🔥 but i think invisible woman's ult shouldn't heal. i feel like the healing OT is what has made so many players on this hero use it so poorly. if the healing effect was taken away, it would encourage invisible woman players to use the ultimate to section off and gain advantage in the fight as it was intended. this is better than the most common occurence where invis players use their ult on themselves when they fumbled all 5 self-peel cooldowns and go: "oh, let me just put this ult down on myself and shake ahh cuz i'm still the best support in the game and can do no wrong ✌️🥹". maybe a boon of bonus health on placement or turning the boundary into a shield that could block out external projectiles could help compensate for and compliment a change like this as well. but as long as this ult provides healing i don't think most invis players are gonna use it to control the fight sadly and will still just treat it as another immortality ult (thank god for that magneto buff 😈)
