Stand there defending yourself that you have spent only one year and six months in office, and you may end up being voted out the same way your opponent was removed. The people of Dome-Kwabenya and Ga East are not asking for too much one of the major things they need is proper roads and visible development. You were given a strong mandate and your party is in government, so people naturally expect to see effort, urgency, and results. As Member of Parliament, this is the time to work and address the real concerns of the people, not to remind them how long previous governments failed. That frustration is exactly why voters demanded change in the first place. Ashongman Estate inner roads, in particular, need serious attention. The road conditions are terrible and honestly do not reflect the image of Greater Accra as Ghana’s capital region. Residents, drivers, businesses, and commuters continue to suffer daily because of the poor state of the roads. Leadership is about solving problems while in office, not waiting until the next election season before action begins. The people of Ga East deserve visible progress and practical development now.
