I have a fairly prominent jaw, so I keep my chin beard relatively short and fade the sides to avoid making my chin look too dominant compared to the rest of my face. I also fade it underneath the chin, while keeping the upper edge of the chin beard and the outline of the soul patch clean and well-defined. I used to have full beard but I prefer goatee now.
