I'm deeply connect with Berdly on so many levels, especially that I see my past self in him. Being a "smart stupid" child, not exactly expected to be the best but still feeling the pressure of HAVING to be the best to prove my worth, and whenever succesing as something; taking it as a other pressure point instead of a win. Being the annoying, obnoxious and weird outsider that doesn't really fits the rest of the class, holding onto that one person that showed me a small amount of appreciation, despite the fact that they were quick to talk behind my back to "seem cool to the rest", but "not really meaning it", and that suffocating feeling of how no matter how much I try, I don't seem to success at anything at the level I wish to be.
