Accompanying His Holiness were Venerable Mingyur Rinpoche, Tana Tulku, Tenam Shastri, Chagzo Tsewang La, and other members of his entourage, who arrived from Pullahari Monastery in Kathmandu. Choje Lama Rinpoche personally traveled to Pullahari to offer a special welcome and accompany His Holiness on this auspicious journey. Upon arrival, His Holiness received a grand and heartfelt reception from the monks and nuns of Thrangu Monastery, the students and staff of Shree Mangal Dvip School, representatives of the local government, the Namo Buddha Development Committee, and countless devotees and well-wishers. In accordance with our rich spiritual and cultural traditions, Choje Lama Rinpoche, Tulku Damcho Rinpoche, Drupon Khenpo Rinpoche, the Khenpos, lamas, anis, and devotees joined in a beautiful ceremonial procession to welcome His Holiness to the monastery. Following the procession, a tea and saffron rice offering ceremony was held at the Old Retreat Shrine, creating a joyful atmosphere of devotion, gratitude, and blessing. The entire Thrangu family is overjoyed by His Holiness’s presence and feels profoundly blessed to receive him and his esteemed retinue at our monastery.
