This happens ALL THE FUCKING TIME. I left a very VERY large UK Bank, a major UK bank household / high street name. I got a call 3yrs later asking me how a macro worked because they had removed the supporting documents, and the office 365 upgrade had made the maco no longer work. HUGE Delays in internal payments and reconciliations. 3yrs!!!!!!!

and this is why I try and avoid doing workarounds and I'm just a mechanic. same thing happens with equipment. Just get it working till we get the parts. 3 years later pares never arrived.

I'm Brenda. I taught myself how to write VBA script to handle all of the workload they kept handing me. to automate it all because it was the same thing over and over everyday and Microsoft access was the only scripting option I had open to me. when I left, all of that workload stopped. and found out later they hired nine people to replace me to keep the lights on.
