@scottishjourneys: Yesterday, Stirling proudly came together to mark Armed Forces Day, honouring the courage, dedication and sacrifice of those who serve, or have served, in the Armed Forces. The day began with a reception at Stirling Castle. Here, the pipes and drums of Queen Victoria School took part in the Armed Forces Day celebrations. The Queen Victoria School Pipes and Drums, based in Dunblane, is an internationally renowned youth pipe band. Comprising pupils from the school, the band performs at high-profile military and civic events, including parades at Holyrood Palace and major rugby matches at Murrayfield. #stirling #Scotland #armedforces #bagpipes
