I had the same experience 😂😂 I got import direct ignition coils but they haven’t knocked yet like the Duralast ones that were in there from the previous owner.

I work at autozone and I would NEVER use any duralast sensor or electronic part. They are by far the most returned behind the counter part. The only parts you should buy from autozone are maybe the brake pads (only gold or elite) or the gold or platinum batteries. And if they have it oem parts

dude my buddies e36 did the same thing. we swapped the knocking coil with the other one behind it and the noise went away. no clue why it was knocking.
