Yesss. Those neighbors you names besides South Beach are great for tourists to explore. The heat one is good too! Never pack things like jeans or long sleeves from March-October. And don't wear any colors that show sweat. Tipping at restaurants is a MUST in the U.S. It's extremely rude (and almost like robbing) to sit at a restaurant and not tip your server at least 18%. I always do 20% or more, no matter how bad the service is.

I just got back from Miami and the heat was not that bad lol. I live in New Orleans and the heat here is wayyy worse so Miami heat was nothing to me.

Walked everywhere my first day, honestly not as bad if you’re physically active. You get to burn a lot of cals, and find small businesses along the way outside of your main attraction eats. Totaled 40k steps through 4 cities and had a really good time! My exploring was about 7 hours but definitely worth it got to see places i wanted to revisit the following day and saw a little bit of everything
