Hot take: this is too much parity and it gets boring. The league’s ratings aren’t strong and many ex-fans have cited not knowing what teams or players are good as the reason they’ve stopped watching as much. It feels more like a dice roll on who’s healthy, how the refs feel, and some random chance, and that’s WAY less engaging to viewers. If there are no expectations, they can’t be exceeded or subverted, and that’s boring.

No excuses dawg the salary cap is pretty much just preventing teams from even using their draft picks to their ability got to trade away crucial parts of the team every season just to avoid the apron/tax

no one thought ts ab the raptors lakers or warriors... only casuals maybe but their situations weren't sustainable. bucks and nuggets too reliant on one guy and mid/injured role players... Cs OKC and Knicks are both young enough and talented enough for more, but the Spurs gunna get theirs in the next couple years as well, could easily be next year to continue the cycle
