@dimplesbyshanel: This song hits different now… 🥹 Back then, I would play “Nadie” by Farruko on those long drives from my hometown to my apartment an hour away after leaving the shelter. I was rebuilding my life, figuring things out, and carrying so much that people didn’t see. I wasn’t just listening to a song… I was reminding myself that I made it through. That I was going to keep going, keep enjoying life, and stop worrying about what people thought. Now when I hear it, I don’t hear the struggle anymore… I hear strength. I hear the woman who kept going. 🤍 Life can change so much when you don’t give up on yourself.
