As long as the AC stays the same, I’ll be happy. And if they add a cart specifically for turkey legs. That’s the way to make things better. Add more turkey legs.

As someone who is ride or die for the Carousel of Progress I’m actually excited about this. I do hope the original scenes are saved and maybe even displayed somewhere else in the parks from time to time. I look forward to seeing the family and what the 80s scene might be! Also I was sad about the Country Bear retheme, but like I told my friends… if it’s between retheming or losing the attraction I’ll choose retheming EVERYTIME! My niece and nephew actually like the CBJ now so it’s a win for us all!

I think to keep the history of the ride itself alive. it would be nice to see like a small little museum wing next to the carousel that shows off bits and bobs from certain sections of the carousel or full-on retired sections of the carousel. Just because it's changing doesn't mean the history of it has to go to waste.

That's the paradox of the parks and the Disney brand, it's centered around childhood and nostalgia. So when stuff changes, people are very, "Nooo my childhood!" I've been guilty of this too, not the Carousel of Progress, but with Dinosaur. I wish we could get new original attractions in the parks, rather than solely relying on existing IP's. Give me another Haunted Mansion or Expedition Everest, something created for the park that helps the environmental storytelling.

How about Disney just tears the entire ride down, completely rebuild it, making it larger, so that we can get it all. Or make it like a mini Spaceship Earth, if they don’t have the space. Make it go up instead of sideways.

Agree completely. Also not to mention that the Carousel of PROGRESS currently resides in a part of the park called TOMORROWland…it needs to be updated for a version of tomorrow that wasn’t 20+ years ago
