Loving that you are excited experiencing Georgian culture, just letting you know those prices are very very high for those who don’t get paid in dollar, so Tbilisi maybe be cheap for you but it’s not cheap for locals, I think thats why the store owner thought it was to expensive 🤷♀️❤️happy to host you in here 🇬🇪

It’s so interesting how our perspectives vary depending on where we are from - I moved from Tbilisi to London and think groceries in Georgia are way overpriced compared to salaries, but grocery prices in North America are just crazy

I have so many bags. I just reuse them as trash bags. The food in Tbilisi is amazing.

i’m canadian but in tbilisi i eat so healthy!! i get so much fruits and veggies that i usually can’t afford back home. everything is fresh and farmed with (little) fertilizers and gmos. i love produce shopping here. i’m spending like less than 100 gel a month for fresh produce

If you hate using lot of plastic bags, save them, most of us use them as trash bags, or different things but if you want I’m sure they won’t mind if you take your own bags
