This is the hardest part of trading!! Finding the strategy that works for you, bc there's alot of strategies. One strategy might work for me but not for you. Think of the market like it has different personalities and you have to find that strategy that coincides with your personality and strategy. If that makes any sense!

For options I use STRAT I just got into futures MGC and I like ORB with the 15 min. I also use chatgbt to take strategies and plot buy and sell signals and then create a backtest table and I add filters or “rules” until we eliminate as many loses as we can. It helps me know when my strategy is an A+ set up so I’m not second guessing 😩

I’ve been feeling the same way. ICT has been great, but it definitely doesn’t work during market corrections and high volatility swings. I’ve moved onto order flow/book map, and CRT.

just wanted to say there's a ton of strats in here and I'm sure they're all good but one thing I want to stress is have one strat and stick with it. strategy hopping just cinfuses you!

There are so many strategies. Everyone uses something different. Theres not a strategy that is most common. Best advice, don’t strategy hop. It will throw you way off. You don’t want to have red days from switching all the time. Like I have previously told you, if your strategy does not align at all, safe to not trade. Not everyday is going to be a Green Day. A Green Day is not blowing your accounts. Stick to one and make it work. There’s ORB, ICC, supply and demand, I personally use ICT and SMT.

I use market structure and trend direction. I scalp on the one minute candle and look for quick moves rather than holding. This might not work for everyone though.

Make sure you got a good grasp of all of these. Only thing not listed here is imbalances, they are basically fair value gaps but are traded differently. Instead of trading tap of fvg you trade after the fvg is fully filled first. But yes all of these and imbalances. If you understand that you’re on a good path
