right build, wrong explanation. 1 golem spawn for every 10 villagers who have worked the day before. for villagers to work, they have to be adults with jobs (no nitwits) and have direct access to their work stations and direct or indirect access to beds (they can connect to beds through walls and obstacles but they can't sleep in them. it doesn't affect their ability to work tho). then you'll have to prepare a platform for the golems to spawn and you have to spawn proof everything else in a 17x13x17 area (except the platform obviously). add water streams on the platform and raise the walls with leaves. also make sure all the villagers you need are in the same cube, not 4 separated compartments, because the way golems spawn is by looking for a block with a hidden tag named "village center". it's the place that villagers in normal villages go to for chatting and it can be a bell or a bed but using bells here would ruin the farm, and you can't trace which bed is the village center cuz it'll keep swapping from bed to bed, so it's better to cramp all the beds in one place and act as if all the beds are the center. . too many words but it's much simpler

i recommend something you can make a room behind the villagers rooms and put a zome that its holding an item or having a name tag so villagers get scared and the game system spawns iron golem faster and could spawn in the night

sometimes the villagers will assign themselves to a different bed, so I would recommend connecting all the rooms and replacing all the beds and putting them together. this also leaves with more room for more villagers

Never understood this. You can build a trading hall of villagers and then above it do an iron farm. Best of both. Unlimited iron and all your villager trades in one
