she will be so overtired that she will not fall asleep. I know that sounds weird, but it's true. She's so worked up and so overtired that she's unlike overdrive at this point maybe she'll get a cat nap in the car and that'll really put her through the night good luck.

I worked in childcare for 12 years and never understood parents who didn’t want their child to sleep and the child is miserable. Once I had my son even when he was 3-5 I always said please try to make him nap because other wise he fell asleep in the car and would either stay asleep then be ready to start his day at 2/3am or he’d wake up when we got home and wouldn’t go to sleep until midnight. So I always said make him nap hahah.

My son sleeps great at night if he naps properly during the day, and conversely, he sleeps terribly at night if he doesn't sleep well during the day! They need this sleep so they don't fall asleep completely at night.

LMAO the no nap during daycare was her idea so she gets what she asked for. And the nap on the way home is SO REAL! Idk how many times we stayed in the car and we both took naps 🤣 Guess who was wide eyed at the ass crack of dawn.

my toddler fell asleep in our car -- 10 minutes from home, and she didn't want to nap after we got out the car. she was a little crazy for the rest of the day until she went to bed an hour early. we don't like when this happens and prefer get to nap normally SOOO much better

Say this louder lol even to myself when I thought one of mine was ready.. Sure at home but not daycare and sometimes a 40 min nap even at home.. World of a difference.. The only one who wouldn't nap at daycare. N go to bed by 830 9 was my oldest and you can't compare kids lol he was in school though too at 3 so he might have napped on way to aftercare at the daycare. I worked at I wouldn't know
