Okay this is wild ... I think your technique helped me make a quantum leap. On the right is the last portrait I made a couple of months ago (I’m just getting back into things and have been avoiding faces) and on the left is the one I just did using your method 🤯

Loving all the beautiful art in the comments, just a piece of advice for people who maybe didnt study art, make sure youre using the right pencils! The creator is using 6B which basically is really soft lead and allows you to shade really deeply and give your sketch dimension. Anything from 2B to 6B is so satisfying to draw with and less effort to shade, whereas with other pencils it'll kind of look flat if that makes sense. Any stationery or art shop should have drawing pencils for under a €1, makes such a difference.
