see i don’t think that influencing an environment takes away the free will. sure it makes it difficult to make the “right choice” so to speak but in reality it doesn’t matter how bad of a situation i’m in right if all of my friends and people around me smoke weed and do drugs sure i’ll probably end up getting influenced by that environment but it doesn’t mean the free will is gone because i theoretically can still choose different. so it’s not an illusion of choice in that you can not pick any other option it’s just that you might be influenced to pick something over its counterpart
