@bettercreatingofficial: I Built a Self-Improving AI Second Brain 🤯 Everything I learn gets stored, organised, and connected inside Claude, so when I ask for help, it's working from years of accumulated context instead of a blank page... The full video is on my 'Systems Made Better' YouTube channel if you'd like to do the same!
The problem with this setup is that it defeats the whole purpose of a second brain. if Claude makes the connections for you, it will be Claude’s brain and not yours!! Over time, you’re likely to end up recreating Wikipedia. And for that, you might as well just use the actual Wikipedia. But you’re right about two things: building a second brain is hard (I spent about two months of working on it every day before figuring it out) and Claude can be very helpful in organising…just not in this way!

I forget how mine works because I set it up weeks ago. Harry remembers everything now.

Genuine question no disrespect, what do you gain from a second brain? I could understand organizing for a research topic maybe

Did this a few months ago, but you’ll also need a system to alert you if things you might be forgetting and an easy and fast way to search through it all without hitting your usage limit. Ended up with a standalone custom app running on my Mac to do all that and also sync with my notes and some other fun stuff, having Claude build a mobile version atm, was worth the time

This is an honest question. What do you do that you need a second brain?

I have one at work. it's built on a legacy system of 2m+ lines of C# code, 6500 custom scripts, 3500 documents of documentation and SOWs, a full schema of the 1300+ table database and I have a global rule for all AI agents to always check the wiki, ground in the source code, do the work, then go back and update the wiki automatically, before considering itself as done. My next challenge is to share this with 40 others and have a centralized AI librarian that merges and validates all incoming edits from all users/agents
