as an Air Force mechanic I can tell you that the military cannot afford to have the EGR stuff on there. those trucks pretty much idle 24/7 and never go over 35 mph. it is not the same as your normal on the road vehicle. I know it sucks, cry all you want. I know it's a do as I say not as I do. but the reality is those vehicles will have no mileage yet thousands of hours of use. their oil changes are based off of hours and not mileage and yet still get done every 2 to 3 months.

Yeah, no emissions. Interesting that our government requires these systems for us but BECAUSE OF RELIABILITY, the government is not required to have these same emissions systems.
