@morgan.on.money: it's paydayyy... here's my high earner pay day routine 💸 People try to tell me I'm not a high earner. The median earnings for individuals is around $50,000. An income of $261k (my total comp from 2025 at my corporate job) puts me in probably the top 2-3% of individual earners in the US. Facts > feelings and to me this is a lot of money. I post about my income (corporate and social media) every month because I'm a personal finance creator and pay and money transparency helps everyone, especially women, people of color, and marginalized groups. If you're uncomfortable with it, continuing to watch and engaging negatively says more about you than it does me. To answer some FAQs: I do strategy work for an energy company. We help define and execute the company's most strategic, highest risk, and highest investment projects like real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, divestments, software implementations, etc. I have a bachelors and a masters degree in business. I don't have any debt other than my mortgages. I max out all of my retirement accounts: - HSA (my employer contributes $1k on my behalf) - 401k (I had a big bonus earlier this year so my contributions are lower) - Roth (I make over the limit so I did a backdoor conversion last month) I invest in Bitocin because as part of a healthy portfolio, it's ok that 1%-5% of my portfolio to be speculative. If it goes to the moon, amazing. If it doesn't, then I'll be fine. This is not my only income. I also own a rental property and earn some money from social media (not a lot yet though!). This is just the routine I do 2x a month after getting paid from my corporate job. I'm not living paycheck to paycheck, I use "zero-based" budgeting. Anyone can learn how to budget like this (any age, any income!) ... link in my bio for a free presonal finance checklist built especially for beginners that covers the exact money system I used to go from $0 to $1m in net worth in under 7 years. All my personal finance educational resources are free because I believe health money habits are for everyone at any age, on any income, and personal finance education should be accessible to all. You got this 💚#payday #moneytok #fintok

Is 261k from your 9-5 or is that the total of all your income streams ? Either way, congrats! Very impressive!

You should pay your mortgage every two weeks to pay off sooner

When holding back half of the mortgage and utilities, do you keep it in your regular checking account or move it somewhere? And then same question for sinking funds.

I need help in career change! That salary is impressive. I’ve been in the same job 30 years and make no where near that. Help! Experience customer service (airline) and education: Bachelors of Psychology.
