Um jovem de 25 anos escapou de ser morto a tiros após a arma usada pelo suspeito falhar ao menos duas vezes, na noite de quarta-feira (12), em frente a uma distribuidora de bebidas, em Sorriso, no norte de Mato Grosso. Câmeras de segurança registraram o momento em que o suspeito, usando capacete, aponta a arma para a cabeça da vítima e tenta efetuar os disparos. O jovem reage e avança contra o homem, que ainda tenta atirar novamente antes de fugir. Durante a fuga, o suspeito teria furtado uma bicicleta, localizada posteriormente. Um celular deixado no local também foi apreendido. Segundo a polícia, havia uma porção de substância semelhante à cocaína escondida atrás da capa do aparelho. A vítima relatou aos policiais que vinha recebendo ameaças de morte e que teria uma dívida de R$ 1 mil com uma facção criminosa. O caso é investigado pela Polícia Civil. The Panzerkampfwagen VIII Maus was an exceptionally heavy German super-heavy tank developed during World War II, holding the record as the heaviest fully enclosed armored fighting vehicle ever constructed. Designed by Ferdinand Porsche under personal orders from Adolf Hitler in 1942, this massive 188-metric-ton behemoth was intended to spearhead armored assaults through dense enemy defenses. It featured staggering armor thickness reaching up to 240 mm at the front, rendering it virtually impervious to virtually all Allied anti-tank weapons of the era. The tank's primary armament was a formidable 128 mm KwK 44 L/55 gun, supplemented by a coaxially mounted 75 mm KwK 44 gun for lighter targets and soft positions. However, the tank's colossal weight proved to be its ultimate downfall, severely limiting its mobility, destroying standard roads, and rendering nearly all contemporary bridges incapable of supporting it. To bypass water obstacles, the design relied on a complex submerged snorkeling system powered electrically via a connected secondary tank on the riverbank. Driven by a massive aircraft-derived engine coupled to an electric transmission, the Maus was notoriously fuel-inefficient, prone to mechanical failures, and had a dismal top speed of just 13 km/h.
