I agree with you 100% I hate to admit this but at this point in my life, I don’t think I really have any true friends. I have girlfriend friends and maybe go out friends, but I can’t think of one that I would actually consider a true real good friend. Kind of sad. I guess I need to look for new friends lol

Resentment only shows up when we give with the expectation of reciprocity and we don’t receive it…because that reciprocity then validates our value and worth. Your nervous system is wired for codependency and enmeshment because it is seeking that dopamine, seratonin or oxytocin from the pattern completing through reciprocity. We’re also projecting scarcity in what we give. Rewire your nervous system to give authentically without expectation because you care, not because it thrives on enmeshment.
