Not sure about the eating part... but..I have used it a million times on low grade burns. Sunburn to like a level 2 burn. It is very slimy and sticky. I'm surprised she doesn't like that slimy sticky part. Very common at her age, you know they're all In love with slime😂 I love how she wipes it on your shirt 😂

Looks like aloe also used as an ointment for burns🤭 but I never tried it by itself
