Having kids is selfish. I have the best parents in the world. I was so loved and supported. My parents are my favorite people. But I didn’t choose to be here and since I’ve lost my mom 3 years ago and my Dad is 70. I’m confronted with life without them & I wouldn’t choose this. So as someone who had a great childhood & parents who wanted to raise children, it’s still a selfish choice. Now imaging how kids who can tell their parents didn’t have them for the best reason feel.

I literally asked my mom why did she want a child and she told me that she wanted someone to love her unconditionally. That was her why and the only reason. 🤦🏽♀️

it’s selfish. doesn’t mean the parents are bad people… but sometimes they do not think ahead, or outside of themselves, and it’s obvious. Maybe I’ll adopt someone who’s already here and I could give them love. I don’t need to make a fresh human that’s a mini me to experience unconditional love.
