Since Affirmative Action it’s been like this for decades. And trickled over to DEI corporate world. The best and most qualified will always be heavier for one group dependent on skill set. Same as saying Professional BBall or Football needs to limit Black players and include White/European/Asian/Hispanic for Diversity Equity and Inclusion. Cause that’s what they do with college acceptance and corporate hiring.
