The minister also addressed employers, warning against illegal hiring practices, and urged public responsibility. She said: “We also call upon employers to refrain from transgressing immigration and labor laws.” She further cautioned citizens: “We call on all South Africans to reject the path of vigilantism, dismiss the noise of misinformation.” Government says enforcement actions will continue under constitutional and legal frameworks while coordinating repatriation processes with partner countries.
