As someone who used to drink 12+ bottles of wine a week and is now sober 3.5 years, congratulations! It is gobsmacking how obvious it is when someone has had a glass of wine, and I cringe, thinking I was hiding it well in a coffee mug.

i was up to 32 oz of vodka daily, mixed with 64 oz flavored water. will be sober 6 years mid September.

i recognise every word you spoke- my drink of choice was vodka but when you spoke about the periodic nipping upstairs while spending time with flatmates to swig from the bottle, yep that was me. im going into rehab tomorrow thankfully as a physically sober person but not psychologically. thank you for sharing ❤️
