Praise music has always lifted my spirits. Helping your child transition to college is hard, no matter what else is happening. And yes, it could be peri-menopause could also be beginning. It’s like a triple whammy. I’ll say a prayer for you to have happiness and peace

Same. I hate change and I do not cry except now that I’ve hit 40 apparently I’m emotional 😭 but my daughter is about to leave for college and it is literally making me depressed. Our pastor said today though that we have to stop worrying about things we cannot change and I’m like yeah that one is for me because I’m causing myself anxiety and I have to stop.

Same girl! My oldest, my daughter gets married on Thursday and she’s moving to Michigan which is 12 hours AWAY!!! Our house is not okay. We are a super close family.

I know exactly what you mean. My mom died in February. My dad died in May. My disabled brother is coming to live with us. Our house is a wreck because we’re remodeling to get things situated for him to come. My daughter is starting college and we’re going to orientation tomorrow and I’m menopausal and I just wanna cry at the drop of the hat too.

I recommend journaling anytime u are having sad or bad thoughts just write down exactly what u are thinking. I have found doing this and praying has helped me so much!!
