Compact Vertical ‘Cine’ Build 🎥 Here’s a cool little setup I’ve been playing around with. I really love shooting with the VP-1 series of lenses and while the Focus Grip here might be overkill for most use-cases, it’s something I already own and makes pulling focus on a manual lens that much easier…I also love the ergo of the handle itself. The Mic 3 is great for capturing real-time sound effects and even pretty solid for capturing ambient sounds, but obviously any mic setup of your choosing could work here. The Polar Pro PM VND II is probably still the best VND I’ve tried…although I’ve been split between this and the Freewell CPL/VND. 🔗 I have a parts list for this build in my bio link called “ ‘Mini Cine’ Build 🎥 ” - feel free to use it for inspiration on your own setup or copy it part-for-part.
