yars 🤘🤘 i do believe that there are people who do enjoy their career in sex work and would/have chosen to do it despite having other options BUT the reality is currently it’s a career that people feel forced into or at the very least forced to stay in, and are only doing it to survive. I’d love to live in a world where someone actually has the ability to actively enthusiastically choose that form of labour

focusing on sw and wanting to abolish it while being anti wage labour in general is a bit unproductive since sw is in a unique position politically/legally, having a loud pro abolition stance regarding sw creates systems like the nordic model or criminalisation. we are indeed too far from abolishing it, so all u can do is be in support and community with sworkers who time and time again claim that u can’t be pro worker but anti industry. our industry needs support and safety around it and ppl should focus on that
