This is 💯 true!! I was friends with a notorious f-boy. He was hot & popular when he was young but as he approached his 30s, he kept getting dumped and turned down by women his own age group and by the time he was 35, he desperately wanted to have a meaningful relationship but he just didn’t know HOW and he did not have the problem solving and communication skills necessary to actually develop a meaningful connection with a woman. He’s SUCH a creep now, in his 40s while aiming for 20 something’s who keep turning him down 💀

As the daughter of a nearly 70 year old f boy (who still believes he’s gods gift to women) I can confirm they do not change. Pops cycled through so many girlfriends growing up, I stopped learning their names out of fear I’d confuse them and because it would be someone new with him at my every other weekend visitation. He temporarily settled down with my stepmom but as soon her funeral service was over (4 years ago), he was back to his old ways instantly. It’s so sad. Before my stepmom, he played games for almost a decade with this other wonderful woman who truly did love him (he cheated nonstop, she tried to change him) but he discarded her for my eventual stepmom because stepmom was 10 years younger than him and in his mind that made him look better to his friends and other women (he told 17 year old me this). Fast forward over a decade, that lady recently passed away and I was so sad. She was the only constant of my childhood regarding my father. I found out because I kept her on Facebook regularly staying in touch. I sent my condolences to her children but knew I couldn’t attend her service. Her adult children and family rightfully hated my father for how awful he mistreated such a kind soul. Aside from her, I’ve received several messages from random women over the years who met me when I was little through my father, all wanting to voice their frustrations about him or (even sadder) attempting to reconnect with him through me. That’s been happening all my life. The ramifications of being the daughter of someone like this is unpleasant but it taught what men to avoid. My only advice for dealing with men like him is to respect yourself enough to leave people who can’t match your capacity instantly by accepting that you will not be the exception.. placeholder? Maybe. If you find yourself chasing a man like this, it’s time to look at yourself and ask why you’re adamant about being mistreated versus finding a healthy partner. A therapist or psychologist can help you with that. A healthy minded individual would be offended and turned off if someone like this approached them. Best of luck💐
