I feel like teams who never ease up are actually more respectful. They give it their all because they take their opponent seriously till the very end. Even if they will clearly win they play just as hard as they would with any other team. No one wants pity or to be treated as less.

Even if it didn’t matter, this is worldcup, everyone is here to win. Also can you imagine wouldn’t it be more disrespectful to treat them less. Not give their 100%. they scored their first goal in the wc EVER and germany saw them as equals which is why they kept going as hard as they did. it would be sadder if germany went easy on them. im just so happy to see they scored.
