Why did they say: “ʿUzayr (Ezra) is the son of God”? They said this due to extreme exaggeration in honoring him, because:    •   He was seen as the one who restored the Torah after it had been lost. There is also no evidence of ever there being Jews who worshipped a golden calf, the only reason they believe in it is that it's mentioned in the old testament .... so the double standards, asking muslims to show proof of the same thing they believe in just by faith.
