@bunmisupreme: I think both Europe and Africa are attempting to be to recreate what happened in America artificially , individually. But was Americans we have to finish the merger or we will fail as a nation
I'm curious what makes you think the US surpasses every other country in terms of innovation, because that's not what indices that measure innovation say

I respect your opinion but I don’t agree with a lot of what you’ve said. Culture evolves, it changes, let’s look at the Irish immigrants in the US for instance, a lot of Irish Americans still have some of traditions passed down through generations, the US is a melting pot of culture, it’s much more than what you’re saying, in my opinion.. respectfully.

America became a world power with war and capitalism, both are destroying our society.. culture and growth is what makes a country relevant, this is just power and tbh you’re going towards a level of imbalance that will break at some point.. time will tell

America is not surpassing anyone in innovation though. It just seems like that cos part of the American culture is to believe you're the best, in every circumstances, even when the data doesn't support it.

How can innovation be the backbone of America for 500 years, when the US is only 250 old?

This is a great start for an analysis but you’re coming from a place of American exceptionalism / belief in American mythos for it to be taken seriously icl

Not really. The Industrial Revolution happened in Europe. They didn’t start manufacturing in the USA until they figured out how to do it. It was the same with cars and computers too

Your take is WILDLY simplifying centuries of American, European and African history ignoring or confusing colonialism, imperialism, economic dominance AND innovation, centering culture and identity (kind of interchangeably) when it’s really more complex than that

We didn’t though. There are German villages throughout the US, just to mention one. Renaissance festivals are actually a celebration of where our ancestors came from.
