it does sound slightly different... because the PSP version used to make the audio more compact and tiny so it fits in the UMD Disc and doesn't make the Games size increase.. meanwhile PDFT uses more high quality audio so it takes so much space than the PSP

This could be because many songs are re-made to separate the vocals from the music. Unlike PSP games, this games have that mechanic where missing a note mutes the vocal track.

Yeah this is an unfortunate common occurrence in project diva games look at Equation+** by shinamota in project diva vs the actual song in my opinion pjdv butchered the vocals so bad

mabye they remaster some of the songs? you know when you miss it plays the instrumental with backing vocals only? maybe theh switched it up a little idk if I'm just saying shit but this is what i think what happened in the vid

I think it's different because on the PDAFT, the game has separate audio files (vocal track / instrumental track) and the game itself mixes the song, but on the PSP it's a single file containing the entire song
