What I will tell you is that I priced out making beef and bean burritos from scratch, and there was no way I could beat a $3 package of frozen burritos on either cost or convenience. Sometimes budget cooking isn't about making everything from scratch. Sometimes it's about recognizing when a convenience food can save both money and time.
