I managed to grow my basil plant really well for approx 8 months. It was doing really well but suddenly wilted and died. Do you have ideas as to why? 🙂

If you want it to grow even bushier, snatch the top leaves of to the next leaf pair and it will grow two new tops.

Don’t like basil, but did the same with parsley and origano from Lidl, was amazed at how long it survived!

I’ve had more success buying the packets of fresh basil stems and removing the lower leaves and putting in a small shot glass or empty glass spice container filled with water, change the water every few days and within a week or so you’ll see new roots, once the roots are a couple of inches long transplant it into a pot of compost
