@daniellemi_k: Replying to @Rose So do most people camp at shambhala or is it possible to stay at a nearby hotel? I know camping isn’t for everyone, but IMO it’s the only way to experience shambs 😅 I also don’t wanna tent camp for a week anymore tho so we upgraded to a trailer rental a few years ago lol 😂 #shambhala #shambhalamusicfestival #edmtiktok #musicfestival #raversoftiktok
Ah yes. Shambhala. Drug fest. SA fest. Overdose central. Vandalism ,petty theft, impaired drivers making the rest of us in danger on the roads Such a wonderful event for whoever is making the money off it.

Do you know of people flying to YZZ?! I have some friends who can’t take time off work and wondering if flying is an easier option for them to be able to join us when they can

Salmo is a tiny town the closest taxi you could get would come 40 mins from either Nelson or Castlegar it wouldn’t be worth it

Salmo also does not have Ubers I believe! Andddd I wouldn’t bank on taxis arriving at a timely manner, just cuz it’s such a small town

I volunteer every year, and am on the Farm for 8 days. It’s such a great festival to immerse right into and embrace the dirt and mayhem!

I live in salmo, there’s a few little hotels but we don’t have taxi really. It would cost way more to stay in a hotel here or uber

WASH YOUR CAR BEFORE YOU LEAVE or just after. The dirt on your car makes you the BIGGEST mark. Staying off site is fine if you have a driver. I lived beside an air bnb and some peeps stayed there no problem. Back and fourth

so I live in Creston which is one of the other towns nearby, people do buy up the hotels and go for certain times! its just not as common because you need a driver (i dont believe our cabs will go that far) and its about an hour to get to the festival probably another hour trying to get in. camping is just more feasible
