🚀 Telnet Remote Management Lab in Cisco Packet Tracer In this project, I configured a Cisco switch for remote management using Telnet. Instead of connecting through a console cable, the administrator can manage the switch from a PC on the network. 🔧 Devices Used: ✅ 1 Cisco 2960 Switch ✅ 4 PCs ⚙️ Configurations Performed: 📌 Configured a management IP address on the switch 📌 Enabled Telnet access on VTY lines 📌 Configured login and enable passwords 📌 Verified network connectivity using ping 📌 Remotely accessed the switch from the administrator PC 📌 Changed the switch configuration through a Telnet session 📚 What We Learned: Telnet allows network administrators to remotely access and manage network devices over the network. 💡 In simple words: Instead of physically connecting to the switch, an administrator can log in from a PC and configure the device remotely. ✅ Successful Telnet connection established ✅ Switch managed remotely from the admin PC ✅ Basic remote administration completed This is a great beginner lab for learning how network administrators manage devices in real-world environments.
