I'm torn between agreeing with her death and wishing for her revival for the one part the story is told through cloud and it's about letting go and the grief that comes with loss having her back would erase that message. On the other hand this is a remake they already changed a lot of things and I think it would be justified to let her return after all these years since the game's message has also changed

i really adore and love aerith but the point of the game is about how cloud manages grief with his friends, and the best character to make u feel it like cloud is aerith

who even says that?💀ofc she wanted to live, just like zack/jesse/biggs whatever... but death or rather her sacrifice is part of what makes her character great and what pushes even more the entire party (aside from cloud whos living between worlds aka illusion) to stop sephiroth.
