to think one year ago today i started this account, with a lee know edit and this exact part of j.cole’s song is insane. i cannot even express how much this account has helped me and brought such a safe space to me—in so many different ways. i hit over 36K in only one year, some days that doesn’t even seem right or real lol, i don’t see 36K and just think it’s a number, i truly admire and will forever be grateful at the fact that 36 thousand people chose to follow me and support my videos. editing has been such a big part of my life and has made me into the person i am today. I found so much comfort in editing, it’s a hobby but also a distraction for me—when some days my anxiety is overtaking my mind. It’s become an escape for me, to indulge in music and use clips to edit some of my favorite people. I have had countless accounts and have been in so many different fandoms, but i have never loved any of the past ones like i do this one. This account has allowed me to meet and become friends with so many beautiful people, I will forever cherish. I have so many mutuals who have been here from the very beginning, still supporting me. They are the only reason my account is where it’s at today, my mutuals hype my edits up whenever they get the chance and I couldn’t be more grateful for it. There’s always ups and downs to having an editing account, the days where you want to quit, everything just becomes so overwhelming or you just have no motivation. It’s not as easy, especially when you are like me trying to post every single day—always providing clips for other editors and always trying to give 100%. But the countless of messages I get randomly of people saying they love my edits and appreciate my scene packs I make warms my heart so much. The pure appreciation and love I get from people makes everything worth it. So like I’ve said before and will continue to say, thank you all so much for a year I will never forget, I love each and every one of you so much.
