Bro one thing I want to ask is regarding the current landscape with AI. I work in a dev company but on the IT side, my background is in infra and networks for small/medium companies with general exposure to the rest of tech. Since Claude I can now produce solutions for my devops guys, understand really deeply when something goes wrong for them and I’m deploying code that’s integrating with their stacks in areas where there is overlap with IT. My Claude is managing infra, deploying, ci cd all of it. Now I do want to get into devops but the traditional learning is kinda off putting because my brains saying bro you could just start doing practical instead of spending X time learning theory. Eg let’s say docker, Claude can manage my entire docker stack end to end and yes I do need to know when things go wrong but really it’s more just knowing where to look or how something is wrong rather than specifically what it is ? If that makes sense

Jamaican senior software engineer here and I’ve done hundreds of courses. There is a difference between technical course which teaches and course where there’s blatant psychological manipulation to trick people. Why do we need to see your life style to learn how to learn how to write terraform. Or 100 testimonials from people who are obviously friends claiming to earn 6 figures
